The "court monastery" bishops
So many church leaders took their monastic vows at Rakovac, or lived here at some point, that it became known as the “court monastery” of the Karlovci Metropolitanate. Sources name more than twenty bishops, among them:

- Mojsije Putnik
- Danilo Jakšić
- Josif Šakabenta
- Pantelejmon Živković
- Georgije Hranislav
- Sinesije Živanović
