Lake Ledinci
Hidden in the forest above Stari Ledinci lies Lake Ledinci, a turquoise lake that filled an abandoned stone quarry around 1999. It is about 15 minutes from Rakovac by car, and forest paths lead towards it on foot as well.

The lake is not open to visitors. In May 2025 the quarry company that holds the site announced a ban on all visits because of reclamation works, and in August 2026 a guard on site was still turning visitors away from the water. Swimming is dangerous here: the walls are almost vertical, rockfalls are frequent and the lake is about 95 m deep. In 2006 a rockfall injured several swimmers. Please respect the ban.A small detail for history lovers: the company that owns the site is called Kamenolom Rakovac, the “Rakovac quarry”. Its records from 1929–1955 are kept at the Archive of Vojvodina.
