Stražilovo
TEMP PHOTOStražilovo is a wooded valley on the north-eastern slopes of Fruška Gora, a few kilometres from Sremski Karlovci and about 15 km from Novi Sad. It holds the grave and monument of the Romantic poet Branko Radičević. There is also a mountaineers’ hut, and it is the starting point of the Fruška Gora transversal, a hiking trail of more than 160 km around the mountain.
It is not in Rakovac, but it makes a good day out from a stay here.
