Local identity and portal typeface

The shield R, two typefaces and five colours of rakovac.rs. Businesses and residents of Rakovac may use them free of charge on signs, menus, price lists, labels, packaging and websites, so that what is made in the village looks like it belongs together.

Not an official coat of arms

The shield R is the identity of the rakovac.rs portal and was designed for it. It is not the coat of arms of the village or of the Municipality of Beočin. The shape of the shield and the grapes are inspired by the village coat of arms; the letters and motifs are our own drawing. Using it does not mean that the municipality or rakovac.rs endorses a business.

Without the QR code, for small sizes
  • The logo is the shield R, taken from the Rakovac Capital font, above the name Rakovac set in Rakovac Common. Below them, smaller, is the address rakovac.rs and a QR code that opens the portal.
  • Leave free space around the logo of at least half the shield width on every side.
  • The QR code must be at least 20 mm wide to scan reliably. Where the logo would be smaller than that allows, use the version without the QR code.
  • Smallest size of the shield: 12 mm high in print, 24 px on screen.
  • Use the colour version on light backgrounds. On dark backgrounds, photos and glass, use the one-colour version in white or cream: the R, the leaves and the grapes are cut out of the shield, so only one ink is needed.
  • Do not stretch, slant, outline or recolour the logo, do not add shadows, and do not move its parts apart.
  • For your own business name, you can start it with a Rakovac Capital letter and set the rest in Rakovac Common.

Fonts

  • Rakovac Capital only for the first letter of a name, title or paragraph, at the same size as the text. Smallest size: 24 pt (32 px) in colour, 14 pt (20 px) in one colour.
  • Rakovac Common for everything else: all weights from Light to Black, with italics. It has Latin, Serbian and Russian Cyrillic, and the German and Hungarian letters.
  • Colour for screens and full-colour print; one colour for vinyl stickers, stamps, embroidery and engraving.
  • Canva and Google Docs cannot show colour fonts: place the SVG letters from the download as images there.

Forest is the main colour: the shield, headings and dark backgrounds. Vine is for leaves and accents, Paper for light backgrounds and Ink for text. Use Grape sparingly, for the one thing that has to stand out.

Licence

Rakovac Capital and the shield R are free for personal and commercial use. For commercial use, show the credit Font: Rakovac Capital, rakovac.rs, unless you have written permission, or your business is located in Rakovac or related to it. Do not sell the font itself, and do not use the shield R as the logo of a business that has nothing to do with Rakovac. Rakovac Common is Literata under a new name (SIL Open Font License 1.1).
